How to Install

Car Vinyl Wrap Installation Instructions

Before You Begin:
Make sure the surface is clean, dry, and free of dust, wax, or oil. Avoid installing under direct sunlight or in extremely cold environments.
What You’ll Need:
Spray bottle filled with a mix of water + a few drops of dish soap
Soft squeegee or credit card wrapped in a microfiber cloth
Heat gun or hair dryer
Utility knife or precision cutter
Clean microfiber towel

Step-by-Step Installation:
Clean the Surface
Thoroughly clean your headlights, taillights, or fog lights using soap and water.
Dry completely with a microfiber towel to ensure no dust or grease remains.
Measure and Cut the Film
Measure your light surface and cut the film slightly larger than needed (about 1 inch extra on each side).
Wet the Surface
Spray the soapy water evenly on the light surface. This helps you reposition the film easily during installation.
Apply the Film
Peel off the backing layer and place the adhesive side of the film on the wet surface.
Adjust the position until it fits perfectly.
Remove Air Bubbles
Use a squeegee (or wrapped credit card) to gently press out air and water from the center outward.
Work slowly to avoid wrinkles or trapped bubbles.
Heat and Stretch
Use a heat gun or hair dryer to warm up the film slightly — this makes it more flexible and easier to mold around curves.
Continue pressing out any remaining air pockets while heating.
Trim Excess Film
Once the film is in place and smooth, carefully trim the excess edges using a precision knife.
Avoid cutting into the light surface.
Final Touch
Recheck for bubbles or loose edges. Apply a bit more heat if needed to seal the edges firmly.
Let it dry for 24 hours before washing or exposing to rain.

Tips:
If this is your first time installing, watch a few “headlight tint installation” videos on YouTube for visual guidance.
Avoid overstretching the film. Gentle heat and patience work best.
For complex curves, use small relief cuts to help the film lay flat.
